The Role

Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and customer-centric Contract Recruiter to join PharmaEssentia USA Corporation in our Burlington Office. The Contract Recruiter will play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, hiring, and onboarding top talent and collaborating with hiring managers, developing recruitment strategies, and managing the end-to-end recruitment process to ensure a positive experience for all stakeholders and candidates. The ideal individual will have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and a passion for identifying and securing the best talent to drive our company’s commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and own full lifecycle recruitment for all levels across PharmaEssentia USA by developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for all levels of the positions in Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations, and Medical.
  • Ensure high level of service delivery and strategy alignment with corporate objectives by partnering with senior business leaders or hiring managers to understand their business strategies, organizational plans, staffing needs and provide guidance on job descriptions, interview process, candidate selection offer to onboarding.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing methods to build a robust talent pipeline.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and propose competitive offers aligned with company compensation philosophy.
  • Conduct thorough screening of resumes and applications and perform initial phone or in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining regular communication and managing the entire recruitment process efficiently.
  • Ensure all recruitment practices comply with internal SOPs, relevant laws, and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Support new hire onboarding process, including initiating background checks and collaborating with the IT team on account set-up and equipment shipment.
  • Perform other duties as needed, such as greeting candidates attending on-site interviews or scheduling interviews.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of talent acquisition experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry, with a strong focus on sourcing and closing candidates.
  • Prior experience recruiting for sales professionals in industry is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and talent acquisition strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Trustworthy and able to act with discretion when handling sensitive, confidential information.
