Your work environment at EXP
In this role, you will be a part of the Transportation & Construction team, of the, based in Celebration, FL.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
• Perform basic contract administration functions for civil transportation projects
• Import information into Materials Acceptance and Certification Program (MAC)
• Perform measurement of completed work to date
• Reads and comprehends contract documents
• Keep inspectors’ daily reports of assigned work activities
• Prepare monthly construction estimates
• Monitor construction progress to assure proper installation sequences and compliance with schedule and contract requirements and state and local regulations
• Assist in the review and modifications of schedules, specifications and drawings
• Assist the Project Administrator in preparing Supplemental Agreements and Work Orders per FDOT Specifications
What your experience looks like
- Engineering Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of road & bridge construction engineering inspection (CEI) experience having performed/assisted in project related duties.
- Candidates must be able to exercise independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project.
- Candidates must have experience on Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Expressway Authority, or other Federal Highway Administration funded projects Candidates must be proficient in all computer programs required to perform the duties of this position.
- Required CTQP Certifications: Final Estimates Level 1 and 2
- MS Word / Excel software proficiency required.
