Summary:
In this role, you will manage the on-going optimization of the sourcing organization’s processes and practices across all sourcing functions. You will collaborate with local and national stakeholders on contract and work order approvals managing the intake, routing, assignment, and contract completion of sourcing requests via member’s contract management system.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the intake, routing, assignment, and contract completion of sourcing requests via member’s contract management system.
- Assist sourcing personnel in understanding the contract approval process and ensure the process is completed in a timely, professional, and thorough manner.
- Ensure compliance with member contracting policies.
- Ensure all required data fields and supporting documents are accurately completed for contract approval.
- Route contracts for appropriate approvals in member’s contract management system through the appropriate workflows and approval levels as dictated by the member’s contracting guidelines.
- Follow up and resolve issues with local and national stakeholders.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree preferred.
- 2 or more years’ experience required.
- Solid knowledge of Excel preferred.
- Experience in a customer service-related role preferably in healthcare contracting or procurement preferred.
- Excellent business requirement elicitation, analysis, and documentation skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.
Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $39,100.00 to $66,500.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
