HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Contract Specialist will report to the Assistant General Counsel in the Legal Department. With supervision from the Company's Assistant General Counsel and Associate General Counsels, this role will oversee the administration and lifecycle of procurement contracts (vendors), services agreements (clients and potential clients), RFPs, SOWs and confidentiality agreements ("Contracts"). This role is responsible for the drafting, review, negotiation, organization, and facilitation of execution of Contracts. The individual will generate agreements, ensure compliance with internal processes, answer questions about the Company's basic contract terms, process, and technology systems supporting contract drafting, and escalate issues for attorney review as appropriate. The Contract Specialist will need to maintain extensive knowledge and understanding of Inspira's product offerings, internal processes, and best practices.

  • Work collaboratively with the Legal team to facilitate the provision of prompt, high-quality service to the rest of the organization
  • With support from Legal Counsel as appropriate, review and negotiate legal terms for Contracts
  • Shepherd Contracts through review and negotiation processes, including sharing draft agreements with internal and external reviewers, following up to ensure timely finalization of language, and fielding questions about agreements and processes, escalating issues to Legal Counsel as appropriate
  • Support process improvement, including by identifying opportunities to streamline contracting processes, improving templates, revising policies, and supporting knowledge management
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Company's contracts management and review systems, including updates to standard templates and policies as well as management and storage of documents
  • Collaborate with Director of Procurement and relevant business stakeholders to coordinate and implement negotiation strategy and lead negotiations with respect to legal terms
  • Review and interpret key legal terms in existing contracts
  • Assist in management of tracking key provisions in services agreements
  • Manage competing priorities and deadlines while providing outstanding support to internal partners and external customers
  • Other duties as assigned


IF YOU HAVE SOME OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING, APPLY:

  • 5 years of prior experience, preferably in a contract management or legal settings
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economic, operations or supply chain management, or Supply Chain Management, paralegal certificate or candidate can also have experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree/paralegal certificate
  • Experience with Sourcing & Procurement technologies; Zip or similar software experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines
  • Adaptability to handle multiple competing priorities at the same time.
