Position Summary
The Contracts Specialist will support the full lifecycle of contract administration for complex government and commercial programs. Responsibilities include negotiating terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS requirements, and supporting proposal development. This role requires strong knowledge of federal regulations, cost analysis, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure timely and compliant contract execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, teaming agreements, NDAs, and other contractual documents.
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and 2 CFR 200 requirements for federal contracts.
- Conduct contract price analysis
- Support negotiations with partners and vendors on terms, conditions, and pricing.
- Support proposal efforts, including risk assessment and contractor document collection.
- Maintain accurate records in contract management systems and ensure audit readiness.
- Collaborate with program managers and finance teams to align contract strategies with project objectives.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3+ years of contracting, subcontracting and/or procurement experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in FAR/DFARS compliance requirements.
- Proven track record managing complex procurement actions and negotiations.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual starting salary for this position is between $85,000 - $90,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
