Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Scaled Scrum Master to be a leader in our scaled leadership team to lead and coordinate multiple agile teams across complex, enterprise-level initiatives. This role combines traditional scrum mastery with program management responsibilities, ensuring seamless delivery of interconnected projects while maintaining agile principles at scale.

Scaled Agile Leadership:  

  • Facilitate and coordinate scaled events (Scrum of Scrums/Scaled Daily, Scaled Reviews, support Product Syncs, Program Syncs) across all DRM Agile teams 
  • Implement and maintain scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum@Scale) 
  • Lead Program Increment (PI) planning sessions and cross-team coordination events 
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and impediments across multiple teams and workstreams 
  • Makes all of the work from Jira, dynatrace, and Harness are visible to the team to help track health. 

Program Management:  

  • Oversee end-to-end program delivery from initiation through deployment 
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, and milestone tracking 
  • Coordinate backlog allocation and capacity planning across teams 
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical delivery 

Stakeholder Management:  

  • Serve as primary liaison between development teams and executive leadership 
  • Facilitate communication across product owners, architects, and business stakeholders 
  • Provide regular program status updates and metrics reporting during scaled reviews , governance meetings, and as needed 

Process Optimization:  

  • Identify and implement process improvements for scaled agile delivery 
  • Establish metrics and KPIs for team performance and program health 
  • Coach teams on agile best practices and continuous improvement methodologies 
  • Ensure all teams are abiding by organizational team working agreements, definition of ready and technical practices. 

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field 
  • 5+ years of experience as Scrum Master with 2+ years in scaled environments 
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification required 
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) or similar scaled agile certification preferred 
  • Experience managing programs with budgets exceeding $5M 
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and technical concepts 
  • Proficiency with agile project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally) 
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices 
  • Understanding of cloud platforms and modern software architecture 
  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-team initiatives on time and within budget 

Preferred:

  • Experience in regulated industries (aviation, healthcare, financial services) 
  • Background in digital transformation or technology modernization programs 
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture and system integration patterns 
  • Previous experience with vendor management and external partner coordination
