Position Overview
Impact Workforce Solutions is seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting efforts at a leading manufacturing client site in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. This is an on-site contract position responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates for a variety of roles within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- Source and recruit candidates for manufacturing, skilled trades, and support positions using job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting through offer acceptance, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the process.
- Partner closely with hiring managers and supervisors to understand position requirements, team culture, and performance expectations.
- Conduct phone screens and in-person interviews to assess candidate qualifications, work history, and culture fit.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system.
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and high-volume positions.
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements including background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding paperwork.
- Meet established recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, submittal-to-hire ratios, and retention benchmarks.
- Communicate regularly with the Impact Workforce Solutions team to provide pipeline updates and hiring progress reports.
- 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or staffing environment.
- Demonstrated success sourcing candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and candidate management best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with both candidates and client stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, and prioritize in a high-volume setting.
- Experience recruiting for skilled trades positions such as welders, assemblers, material handlers, or technicians is a plus.
- Knowledge of employment law and compliant hiring practices.
This is an on-site contract position based at the client facility in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. Schedule is typically Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with flexibility as hiring demands require.
