You will have the opportunity to contribute to the construction of a state-of-the-art, large-scale facility dedicated to producing low-carbon ammonia. This industry-transforming plant is being built from the ground up, utilizing the latest ATR technology combined with carbon capture and sequestration (CCS). This advanced technology is expected to reduce emissions from the ammonia production process by more than 90% compared to conventional plants without CCS. While we are not the first company to build a plant with ATR technology, this will be the largest of its kind.
Position Overview:
The Contract Manager leads the procurement efforts for CF Industries’ corporate functions including IT, Finance and HR. The incumbent will be accountable for creating and facilitating the development of sourcing strategies, executing sourcing events, managing the contract lifecycle, and monitoring performance. The role is also responsible for managing ongoing supplier relationships, monitoring risks, and leading various procurement initiatives.

What you’ll do:
• Leads sourcing and supplier selection by developing and executing RFI/RFP processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing supplier approval.
• Drives negotiation and risk management by developing negotiation strategies, aligning stakeholders, leading negotiation teams, and implementing supplier risk analysis.
• Enhances supplier performance and quality through project and change management skills to improve supplier quality, cost-effectiveness, service levels, and compliance.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to improve productivity, supplier performance, and reduce costs; manage contract lifecycle and ensure compliance.
• Obtain bids, evaluate quotes, and recommend initial supplier selections; analyze procurement spend to drive cost savings and implement policies and process improvements.
• Manage supplier administration, including performance evaluation, insurance requirements, and training; issue contract releases and purchase orders, and ensure compliance with agreements and regulations.
• Establish and implement processes to meet internal control requirements, ensures adherence, identify deficiencies and develop corrective actions with the policy, process and controls team.
Required Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related disciplines.
• Six or more years of experience in procurement, supply chain, contract management or other commercial experience.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management desirable. Knowledge of SAP/S4, Coupa and other procurement systems.
