About the Opportunity

Caraway Home is looking for a highly tactical, performance-driven Growth Copywriter to support our Acquisition Team. This part time, contract role operates at the intersection of copy, creative strategy and paid performance: developing hooks, ad concepts, landing page messaging, and testing ideas informed by platform data and latest algorithm updates. This is a hands-on, results-oriented role focused on driving measurable improvements in conversion rates, CPA and revenue.

Deliverables

  • Write high-converting scripts and voiceovers for creators, including strong hooks, clear talking points, and structured messaging designed to perform in paid social
  • Maintain a centralized library of ad copy organized by campaign, persona, product, and tentpole moment to ensure consistent testing, learnings, and optimization of top-performing messaging
  • Create cohesive copy across paid assets (video, static, carousel, etc.) to ensure messaging clarity, brand alignment, and performance across all
  • Develop performance-driven copy for paid social (Meta, TikTok, etc)
  • Write high-converting hooks, primary text, headlines and scripts for our paid ads
  • Analyze, iterate and adapt messaging based on structured testing
  • Turn customer insights, reviews and objections into high-performing messaging
  • Provide copy direction and messaging guidance for growth landing pages to ensure alignment with paid acquisition strategy
  • Collaborate with design and growth teams to test and iterate on copy and messaging through A/B experimentation

Experience & Skills

  • Proven track record writing video ad scripts or copy that scale
  • Comfortable using creative performance data to improve messaging
  • Experience with creative testing frameworks and iterative processes
  • Clear, structured communicator who can explain the reasoning behind their copy decisions
  • Interest in non-toxic lifestyle, materials, and product innovation
