The Contract Administrator plays a critical role in supporting contract governance and compliance across the organization. This role is responsible for reviewing contracts, coordinating with Legal and internal stakeholders, ensuring accurate documentation and filing, and periodically auditing contract processes to ensure adherence to established procedures. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hybrid position based in our Charlotte, NC office. The individual will be expected to sit in the Charlotte office at least 3x per week.
Essential Duties/ Responsibilities:
· Review customer, supplier, and partner contracts to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies and procedures
· Liaise with the Legal team to support contract reviews, clarifications, and approvals when required
· Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Service) to resolve contract-related questions or documentation gaps
· Ensure contracts and related documents are properly filed, tracked, and maintained in designated contract management systems or repositories
· Support the administration and maintenance of standard contract templates and approved clauses
· Periodically audit contract processes and documentation to ensure teams are following established contract governance procedures
· Identify process gaps or risks and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
· Assist with reporting and metrics related to contract volume, cycle time, and compliance
· Support special projects related to contract process improvement or system enhancements as needed
Basic Qualifications:
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience
· 2+ years of experience in contract administration, legal support, or a related administrative role
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working with legal teams or contract management systems
· Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) processes
· Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or B2B environment
· Understanding of basic legal and contractual terms
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English Preferred)
Skills & Competencies
· Strong written and verbal communication skills (Bilingual proficiency in French and English Preferred)
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions
· Process-oriented mindset with a focus on compliance and continuous improvement
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with document management systems is a plus.

The estimated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
