Work Setup: Onsite, Umhlanga Ridge
Work Hours: 3pm -12am (will be supporting US business hours)
The Contract Administrator will support the effective management of our contract lifecycle activities. This role is critical to ensuring contracts are developed, executed, maintained, and administered accurately while supporting compliance, operational efficiency, and strong business partnerships.
As a Contract Administrator, you will work closely with Legal, Shared Services, Operations, Finance, Sales, clients, and other stakeholders to coordinate contract-related activities and ensure smooth contract operations across the business.

What You'll Do
- Support the review, drafting, acceptance, and execution of contracts, renewals, amendments, Statements of Work (SOWs), and related documents.
- Coordinate contract renewal activities, including stakeholder meetings, action item tracking, and documentation management.
- Maintain accurate and complete contract records, status updates, and supporting documentation.
- Manage contract information and workflows within Carenet's Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.
- Ensure compliance with internal contracting policies, approval processes, and contractual obligations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for contract administration inquiries and stakeholder support.
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations, Sales, Shared Services, and other teams to resolve contract-related matters.
- Assist with contract-related research, reporting, summaries, and business documentation.
- Support the development and maintenance of templates, playbooks, procedures, and reference materials.
- Identify opportunities to improve contracting processes, controls, and administrative efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Contract Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Contract Administrator, Contract Analyst, or in a similar contract management or business operations role.
- Experience supporting contract lifecycle activities including review, amendments, renewals, execution, and administration.
- Understanding of contract management principles, legal terminology, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business technology tools.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Experience implementing or improving contract workflows and processes.
- Experience within healthcare, SaaS, telecommunications, or other highly regulated industries.
