The Role
Performs and coordinates road and stormwater construction, repair, and maintenance activities. Supervises personnel, monitors productivity and work progress, communicates operational information, maintains activity records, and operates heavy or specialized vehicles such as tip trucks, crane trucks, and Vector vehicles. The role requires work in all weather conditions, emergency callouts, planned overtime, and standby duty.

- Performs specific tasks associated with the operation of heavy and/or specialized vehicles (Tip trucks, Crane trucks, Vector etc.) during road and storm-water drainage maintenance activities.

Essential Requirements
- Trade Tested Artisan in the Civil Construction industry or equivalent.
- Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code C1).
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Valid certification of competency in the operation of truck mounted cranes or to be obtained within 6 months from the date of appointment.
- Certification in Basic First Aid to be completed within 6 months from date of appointment.
- 3 years relevant post apprenticeship experience.
Special Conditions
- Required to work in all weather conditions.
- Required to work outside normal working hours during emergencies and planned overtime.
- Required to be on stand-by duty.
Essential Requirements
- Trade Tested Artisan in the Civil Construction industry or equivalent.
