Job Function


Reporting into the Operations Director – Advanced Materials , the Continuous Improvement Specialist will be based out of Houston, Texas, and will be responsible for the Vibrantz's Continuous Improvement program that is build up through several key programs to achieve 4% in annual CI cost savings, quality improvement and improved output while building the CI culture in Vibrantz's Advanced Materials sites.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Support Vibrantz's Advanced Materials Business Unit to focus to implement, communicate and improve our CI Maturity Assessment Scorecard each year (CI Culture)

  • Provide guidance and framework for the manufacturing site to establish CI best practices

  • Develop and manage an effective pipeline of CI projects to meet our goals

  • Assist in the implementation, communication, and enhancement of the CI Maturity Assessment Scorecard annually, contributing to CI culture development

  • Monitor and support the monthly CI Scorecard, ensuring alignment with improvement goals

  • Actively participate in site review processes to track progress and ensure CI initiatives are on target

  • Collaborate with sites to assist in the development of three-year strategic plans to drive continuous improvement efforts

  • Support the identification, development, and management of a pipeline of CI projects to help meet organizational goals and objectives

    • Provide guidance on Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to continuously improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency

  • Conduct Kaizen events to solve problems and improve current conditions

  • Preparation and active participation in site review processes

Required Experience


  • BS Degree in Engineering or Business

  • Lean and/or Six Sigma

  • 3-5 years broad exposure to all aspects of plant operations with emphasis on Continuous Improvement, Plant Operations Leadership, or integration

  • Must be proven change leaders across a significant organization
