Job Summary

Qnity is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader to help advance our Industry 4.0 Operational Excellence journey by leading strategic improvement initiatives across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, and business operations.

In this highly visible role, you will partner with site leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, improve operational performance, implement digital solutions, and build a culture of continuous improvement that drives sustainable business results.

This role is 100% onsite in our Pasadena TX facility.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing execution of the Qnity Operational Excellence (OpEx) Framework at the site.
  • Establish and facilitate the site's Program Management Office (PMO), including project governance, initiative tracking, performance monitoring, and benefits validation.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects from opportunity identification through implementation and financial validation using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and Industry 4.0 methodologies.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of improvement initiatives with clearly defined scope, milestones, resource requirements, and business benefits.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives including Power BI dashboards, Power Apps, advanced analytics, visual management systems, and connected-worker tools.
  • Partner with site leadership to assess operational maturity, identify high-value improvement opportunities, and develop strategic roadmaps.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and Finance to execute operational improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and coach teams in Operational Excellence tools including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, OEE/TEEP, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Build continuous improvement capabilities throughout the organization through training, mentoring, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Develop business cases, validate financial benefits, and communicate progress and results to leadership and key stakeholders.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in Continuous Improvement, Operations, Manufacturing, Program Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale cross-functional improvement initiatives and change management efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing projects, driving organizational change, and delivering measurable business results.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to influence across organizational levels and lead initiatives with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing, specialty materials, advanced manufacturing, or related industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, digital transformation, and operational analytics.
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics operations.
  • Six Sigma certification (Black Belt or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience developing financial business cases and validating operational savings.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience.
