Lead and participate in facility continuous improvement events, implement and verify process improvements, support safety, environmental and quality systems, identify cost reductions, and communicate across teams. Participate in lean internship activities and help coach/teach improvements while following PPE and EMS requirements.

  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement (CI) events throughout the facility to help to improve processes.
  • Help implement process improvement activities throughout the facility.
  • Helps to identify potential CI events.
  • Verification of effectiveness of process improvements.
  • Participant in lean intern program.
  • Support safety & environmental efforts to better serve our employees and community
  • Ensure continuous communication occurs between employees, management, support staff, other KI divisions and customers as necessary.
  • Identify and implement potential cost reductions.
  • Supports and role models Vision and Guiding Principles.
  • Support our Environmental Management System (EMS)
  • Follows all safety guidelines and uses required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary.
  • Follow and support the Quality Systems
