The Role

SBI is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join our Marketing team as an Entry-Level Content Strategist & Writer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that drive engagement, generate leads, and build brand awareness across various digital platforms. Additionally, you will play a key role in crafting compelling written content that resonates with our target audience.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Strategy Development: Collaborate with the SVP of Marketing to develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with business objectives and target audience personas.
  2. Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging written content for various digital channels, including website copy, blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and more.
  3. Writing Responsibilities: Craft clear, concise, and persuasive copy that effectively communicates key messages and aligns with brand voice and style guidelines for blog, website, social, email, and press releases.
  4. Content Optimization: Optimize written content for search engines (SEO) and user experience (UX) to improve visibility, traffic, and conversion rates.
  5. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of written content initiatives using relevant metrics and tools. Generate insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including research and business development, to ensure written content alignment and consistency across all touchpoints.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

- Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.

- Basic understanding of SEO principles and content management systems (CMS).

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Proficient storyteller, proven ability to craft a compelling message

- Ability to manage multiple writing projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience with content strategy or digital marketing internships.

- Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website development principles.

- Experience using digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hubspot, Hootsuite, SEMrush).
