The Role

The Company:
Marigold is a fast-growing marketing technology company helping growing businesses build stronger customer relationships through its three core platforms: Emma, Campaign Monitor, and Vuture. We deliver powerful tools for email, SMS, and marketing automation that elevate engagement and drive real results. Marigold is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee with offices in Sydney and London.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and execution-focused Content & SEO Operations Manager to join our Demand Generation team. This role sits at the center of Emma’s content engine, connecting strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and content execution to drive pipeline growth, brand awareness, and organic visibility.

This position blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, making it ideal for someone who enjoys shaping content direction while owning the operational details required to bring ideas to life.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the end-to-end content lifecycle for Emma, from intake and planning through creation, publication, distribution, and performance measurement.

  • Develop, execute, and optimize SEO and AI-enabled search strategies to increase organic traffic, visibility, and qualified lead generation.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Web, and Leadership to align content initiatives with demand generation goals.

  • Manage the Emma content calendar and workflows, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery across multiple formats and channels.

  • Create and optimize content including blogs, guides, landing pages, email copy, webinars, and case studies using SEO best practices.

  • Track content and SEO performance, applying data-driven insights to continuously improve quality, efficiency, and impact.

About You:
You’re equal parts strategist and executor—someone who enjoys building smart plans but thrives when rolling up your sleeves. You’re naturally organized, collaborative, and curious, with a strong instinct for how content supports the buyer journey. You’re comfortable balancing big-picture thinking with detailed execution and take pride in delivering work that performs.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in content marketing, content operations, demand generation, or product marketing within a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with experience producing content across multiple formats and distribution channels.

  • Hands-on experience with SEO strategy, keyword research, content optimization, and performance analysis.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing teams.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled search optimization and emerging SEO trends.

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CMS tools.

  • Comfort working with designers, developers, and external vendors to deliver polished content.

Our Benefits:

  • Competitive benefits including: medical/dental/vision insurance, life/accident/disabilities insurance, supplemental health benefits, FSA, EAP and pet insurance

  • Generous time off (we call it Open Time Away) as well as paid holidays and a birthday benefit day off.

  • 401k plan with a company match on your contributions.

  • Employee-centric and supportive remote work environment with flexibility.

  • Support for life events including paid parental leave.
