About The Team

You’ll be joining the Joybuy team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the localization of the overseas e-commerce website interface. Manage language vendors and language resources.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deeply understand user needs and create a consistent, seamless multilingual user experience.
  • Ensure the localization quality of e-commerce web content through quality assurance and issue resolution; always maintain a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset.
  • Identify key challenges in the localization process, lead language quality optimization projects, and collaborate with the development team to drive improvements in systems and tools.
  • Build and maintain the localization team's knowledge base, including glossaries, style guides, and process documentation.
  • Participate in other localization-related projects, proactively propose improvement suggestions, and continuously optimize team workflows and impact.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to provide professional localization and language solutions for new product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate deeply with the AI team to participate in the training and optimization of the company's multilingual Large Language Model (LLM). Be responsible for data annotation, quality assessment, prompt optimization, as well as the evaluation and feedback of generated results for French/German/Dutch/English*, continuously improving AI translation quality and localization adaptability in multilingual scenarios.

Qualifications

  • Native speaker of Portuguese, Spanish, or Italian, with high proficiency in English.
  • 2+ years of experience in translation or localization; a background in the e-commerce industry is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, highly responsible, and adaptable. Possess a keen sensitivity to local user needs and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication skills, team spirit, and self-motivation. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-border collaborative environment.
