Position Overview: 

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Data Analyst – Web Content to oversee the management of web content, product content, digital assets, and documentation on Sitecore and DAM systems. In this role, you will lead the migration of various content types from legacy systems to the Sitecore SXA platform and DAM systems. Your focus will be on ensuring a smooth, efficient, and automated migration process, prioritizing the reduction of manual effort by leveraging automation and GenAI tools to optimize workflows. The ideal candidate will adopt an automation-first mindset, using GenAI and other tools to enhance efficiency, minimize manual tasks, and accelerate migration while ensuring cost-effectiveness and high-quality results. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the migrated content is accurate, optimized for the new platform, and aligned with business requirements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content migration plans for migrating web content, product content, digital assets, and documentation to Sitecore SXA and DAM systems. 

• Actively manage the migration of web content, product catalogs, digital assets, and documentation, ensuring correct formatting, categorization, and integration within Sitecore and DAM platforms. 

• Design and implement data mapping strategies to ensure seamless migration of structured and unstructured data into Sitecore SXA and DAM systems. 

• Work closely with business stakeholders, IT, content teams, and external vendors to ensure that the content migration aligns with business needs and technical requirements. 

• Ensure content integrity and quality by establishing comprehensive QA processes. Perform content validation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper functionality within Sitecore. 

• Continuously identify and implement automation tools and approaches to streamline the migration process, reduce manual labor, and ensure faster time-to-market. 

• Leverage GenAI tools and technologies to automate repetitive tasks, such as content tagging, metadata generation, and image optimization, reducing human intervention while maintaining high-quality results. 

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve migration workflows, focusing on automation, optimization, and cost-saving opportunities to reduce time and manual efforts. 

• Provide post-migration support to ensure that all content functions as expected in the new platform, and troubleshoot any issues that arise post-launch. 

• Maintain thorough documentation for each migration phase, including data mapping, timelines, issues encountered, and solutions implemented. Prepare and deliver regular progress updates to stakeholders. 

• Assist in training internal teams on the new Sitecore platform, DAM, and any changes to content management processes post-migration. 

Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or related field. 

• Certifications in Sitecore or similar content management platforms (e.g., Sitecore Experience Platform). 

• Proven hands-on experience migrating content to the Sitecore SXA platform, including web content, product content, digital assets, and documentation. 

• Strong experience in working with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, ensuring assets are properly migrated and categorized. 

• A strong focus on automating migration processes using tools like Python, PowerShell, or automation platforms. Experience with AI/GenAI technologies is highly desirable. 

• Expertise in mapping and transforming data to ensure proper migration of content and assets into Sitecore and DAM systems. 

• Experience using content migration tools or scripts to automate migration processes. 

• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how content and digital assets are integrated into CMS platforms like Sitecore. 

• Proven ability to work across multiple teams (technical, business, content, etc.) to successfully migrate content while aligning with business objectives. 

• Ability to identify challenges during migration and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. 

• Strong attention to detail to ensure all content is accurately migrated and functional on the new platform. 

• Ability to clearly articulate migration processes, risks, and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
