Summary

The Content Marketing Specialist (CMS) reports directly to the Global Marketing Manager and provides a critical link between AIM Clients, Technical Departments, Marketing and the PCB assembly industry.


This role will work closely with members of AIM’s Marketing, Sales, and Technology R&D and Technical Support teams to create compelling content and copy that shares the vision of our brand, making an impact across various platforms. The CMS will understand the needs of our customers and the industry, know the brand voice, and be able to convey technical information in a concise, cogent fashion to various audiences through product training, trade publications, websites, social media, advertisements, technical conferences, videos, promotional literature as well as other avenues. The CMS should possess strong verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate an aptitude for communicating complex ideas.


The ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of technical-mindedness and creativity, as well as demonstrated intellectual curiosity with a passion for learning about manufacturing processes, engineering challenges, and customer applications. The CMS needs to be highly organized with the ability to prioritize a diverse set of projects, tasks, and activities for timely completion.

Responsibilities

The Content Marketing Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Shape and maintain messaging frameworks, positioning, and content narratives that align with commercial objectives, marketing campaigns, and customer challenges.
  • Create, update, and maintain content for such things as sales and internal enablement tools, blogs, landing pages, account-based marketing content, training guides, videos, email campaigns, advertising copy, presentations, website, social media, press releases, etc.
  • Proactively turn market insights, customer pain points, and industry trends into compelling and valuable content initiatives.
  • Ensure messaging consistency across all channels and mediums; websites, marketing campaigns, ABM program, and all other marketing materials.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and refine engineering and buyer personas, and tailor content specific journeys that support those personas.
  • Writing articles for industry publications;
  • Establishing relationships and determining content needs with industry peer groups;
  • Creating and disseminating product- and process-related updates and tips to increase the knowledge of the sales force and client base;
  • Performing other duties as requested.

Qualifications

The Content Marketing Specialist should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related experience;
  • Knowledge of the B2B manufacturing industry;
  • A unique combination of technical-mindedness and creativity;
  • Interest in research and proven ability to explain complex ideas;
  • Polished writing skills with proven ability to create engaging content for multiple channels;
  • Innate intellectual curiosity;
  • Very structured and organized;
  • High degree of attention to detail;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Able to work under tight deadlines;
  • Autonomous and dynamic;
  • Able to bring new ideas and be innovative;
  • Experience with Marketing Tools and Software (Preferred. Not required)

  • Willing to travel to other AIM locations.
