Job Purpose:
Our Program Manager of Corporate Marketing will be responsible for cooperative development, planning and execution of go-to-market programs, product or customer segment promotional calendars and marketing campaigns that align to business strategies. This position will focus on increasing product/brand awareness with target market sectors and customers, generating actionable leads, implementing promotional programs and overseeing the production of advertising and promotional materials.Job Responsibilities:
● Lead development, planning and execution of go-to-market programs, product or customer segment promotional calendars and marketing campaigns that align to business strategies.● Own performance on marketing programs and related activities based on specific, measurable objectives and KPIs – established in alignment with marketing and business objectives.
● Lead development and distribution strategy of market-facing content, marketing assets and sales tools to support strategic marketing plans, campaigns and promotions.
● Work with creative, digital and marketing automation team members to create and activate marketing assets such as:Websites: Veritiv-owned, social media, industry/media partners, suppliers.
● Digital and printed product catalogs, collateral, pitch decks/presentations, videos.
● Tactile and digital promotional items to support ever-green and initiative-specific campaigns.
● Live and virtual events and demonstrations.
● Work with marketing services providers for supplemental creative development and services such as campaign responsefulfillment/tracking, product sampling programs, and digital advertising services.
● Analyze and measure success of marketing efforts (e.g. promotions) and lead adjustment efforts as necessary to increase effectiveness.
● Development and execution of market-specific campaigns, with clear objectives, measurable goals and effective tactics.
● Work with media partners and third-party ad serving platforms to target the right audience with the right solutions/campaigns and manage campaign flow.
Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:
• Responsible for developing, creating, and managing compelling content that supports brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, and sales growth across global markets that are aligned with business objectives.
• Translate technical packaging and supply chain concepts into engaging, customer-focused content.
• Support product launches, industry campaigns, sustainability initiatives, and corporate communications through targeted content development.
• Maintain a content calendar and coordinate content production across multiple business segments and geographic markets.
• Support marketing initiatives by adapting content for diverse audiences and markets.
• Use analytics and customer insights to continuously improve content effectiveness.
• Prepare reports and recommendations to optimize content strategy and campaign performance.
• 5+ years of experience in content marketing, digital marketing, communications, or related roles.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with experience creating content for B2B audiences.
• Familiarity with marketing analytics tools (i.e., Power BI, Adobe Analytics, etc.) and experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of sustainability and packaging industry trends.
Work Experience:
● 5-10 years of related job experience.● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.● Experience working with ERP systems, contract management, CRM systems and project management tools preferred.● Knowledge of major ERP (enterprise resource planning) software applications such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).● Strong planning and organization skills are required.Education:
