Opportunity Overview:

The Content Marketing Manager will work closely with the marketing leadership team to develop, execute, and implement content and associated marketing campaigns. In this role, the individual will create highly engaging content for our target audience that enhances our brand presence, drives traffic to the company’s website, helps to generate and re engage leads, and overall burnishes our market leadership position. The ideal candidate is a collaborative creative thinker with excellent writing skills, and an understanding of digital marketing trends.

What you will do:

  • Content Strategy Development
    • Develop and implement content marketing strategies aligned with company and department goals.
    • Identify content opportunities and audience needs.
    • Define content goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and metrics for success.
  • Content Creation and Management
    • Write high-quality content for external and internal audiences, including blog posts, articles, email campaigns, white papers, newsletters, case studies, videos, and infographics.
    • Ensure content is consistent with the company’s style, and tone, as well as optimizing for search engines (SEO).
    • Partner with Marketing’s Demand Generation team to manage the content calendar and ensure the timely delivery of content
  • Collaboration and Leadership
    • Collaborate with Marketing Directors to ensure content 
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and executive leadership 

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will support and execute a variety of tasks and projects across marketing’s cross-functional team. The Content Marketing Manager will play a key role in managing and writing content for external and internal campaigns. Additionally, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting marketing data to provide actionable insights for optimizing our marketing strategies.

The marketing team is looking for a detail-oriented problem solver who brings a can-do attitude and who can meet quick deadlines. Your background & requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of content marketing experience, preferably in a healthcare technology/product environment, healthcare insurance a plus
  • Proven experience as a Content Marketing Manager
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques
  • Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of Asana (or a similar PM platform)
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required

The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
