The Role

A rapidly growing, entrepreneurial technology company, Alarm.com is seeking a Content Enablement Lead to join the Alarm.com Partner Education Team. The Partner Education Team is responsible for providing training, internally and externally on all Alarm.com products & services. The ideal candidate is well-versed in technology, well-spoken and enthusiastic, enjoys building business relationships, and excels in an ever-changing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

· As a Content Enablement Lead, you will report to the Director of Education Services and oversee the team's content strategy across ILT and Digital Programs.

· Manage a team of 4 instructional designers and eLearning developers.

· Implement a content strategy that aligns with the organization’s objectives, effectively reaching various target audiences.

· You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the effective execution of training, communications, and stakeholder engagement.

· Your exceptional design skills and attention to detail will enhance our brand reputation and enable the client’s success with Alarm.com solutions when implementing content.

· Develop training content, including webinars, ILT coursework, self-paced learning modules, and other modalities to execute a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with the company’s goals.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather needed information and develop content supporting program initiatives.

· Track content performance metrics like LMS activity and engagement rates and make data-driven recommendations.

· Ensure the publishing of engaging, end-user-friendly content, including training materials and other content, including, but not limited to, videos and eLearning courses.

· Be a subject matter expert in the Alarm.com platform and technology.

· Work with the leadership team to articulate and develop objectives, goals, and strategies for Partner Education training programs.

· Design and build effective content to meet business goals and shape the learner experience.

· Up to 10% travel to engage with partners and provide training.

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 7+ years of experience in content creation, instructional design, or training development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

· Proven track record of developing engaging and effective training content.

· Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and eLearning best practices.

· Excellent presentation, writing, editing, and communication skills.

· Proficiency in content creation tools and software, such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar.

· Creative thinker with strong project management and organizational skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Experience working with external clients is a plus
