What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Defense and Security Segment, where they will lead copywriting efforts for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) organization. The Senior Consultant will lead a workstream writing, editing, proofreading, and creative conception for marketing and communications materials intended for external audiences in support of USCIS’ recruitment efforts.
The Senior Consultant have the following experience:
Supporting the development of writing, editing, proofreading, and creative conception for marketing and communications materials for external audiences
Supporting stakeholder analyses and the development of stakeholder personas and journey maps
Supporting the development of stakeholder engagement approaches and initiatives
Supporting the development of multi-channel communications products for communicating with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders
Assisting in the development of metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Assisting in preparation of and leading internal and external stakeholder discussions, client meetings, and leadership briefings
Supporting multiple concurrent assignments while ensuring technical accuracy, adherence to standards, and timely delivery of all products
Supporting the preparation of a wide range of briefing materials and concise summaries of assessments, evaluations, and plans communicate program status and progress to senior leaders
What You Will Need:
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Advertising, or business-related field
FIVE (5) or more years of experience writing, editing, proofreading, and creative conception for marketing and communications materials intended for external audiences
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
Experience consulting for the DHS
Excellent communication skills across all levels of business, both written and verbal
Ability to adapt quickly and develop successful professional relationships
Experience working in DHS
