About the role: 

We're hiring aContent Creator who will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and producing compelling visual content that resonates with target audiences and aligns with our clients' brand identities. Leveraging your expertise in social trends and best practices, this role will primarily work along with a social media team of experts to deliver culturally relevant content that drives awareness and engagement. In this role, you will ideate, plan, and produce high-quality and culturally relevant video and photo content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and any emerging platforms. Additionally, you will stay current with social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure content remains relevant and optimized for maximum reach and engagement.

This is a hybrid role working onsite up to 2 days per week.

What you will be doing: 

  • Leading creative direction for visual content across all social platforms 
  • Ideating, capturing and implementing owned organic social media content across platforms
  • Developing and storyboarding while working closely with the community manager and strategy team for scripting creative content 
  • Working with the team to build a wide range of designs for social media. Formats include motion graphics, short form video, static digital assets, animated gifs, etc.  
  • Providing expertise on the latest social media tactics and platform features including overall best practices for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and more
  • Translating project details and creative direction into concepts or design solutions
  • Presenting creative concepts, storyboards, and final designs to clients with clear rationale, defending creative decisions while remaining open to feedback and iteration 
  • Delivering a high standard of efficiency, consistency, accuracy, and creativity
  • Collaborating with teammates team to build a content calendar 
  • Brainstorming innovative content ideas and platform hacks that capture attention and increase engagement and following 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • 5+ years’ experience generating engaging social content required  
  • Extraordinary content creation skills, capable of execution from start to finish, with a passion for various kinds of creative outlets including design, video, editing and writing 
  • Platform expertise and strong understanding of audience segmentation across a variety of key social platforms 
  • Creative individual with a strong attention to detail 
  • Comfortable and charismatic in front of the camera, participating in the making of our content 
  • Able to present a portfolio that demonstrates your creativity and design / video skills, including a strong sense of typography and layout—demonstrating talent in design, composition, and color
  • Experience with performance metric dashboarding tools 
  • Ability to assess metric performance data and leverage data to improve content performance 
  • Experience utilizing/prompting Gen AI platforms a plus 
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $80,000.00 to $90,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
