About the position
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing social media team and help shape how Cullen Jewellery shows up across the US. We're looking for someone who's genuinely obsessed with social media and ready to become one of the faces of our brand, working closely with our Social Media Manager to bring brand-led, educational content to our clients.
You'll be based out of our LA showroom, and out across the city, a large part of this role is spent camera in hand, approaching people you've never met for candid, unscripted interviews about relationships, engagements and love stories. It's spontaneous, it's fun, and some of our most-loved content comes out of exactly these moments. The rest of your time is spent filming, editing and planning back at the showroom alongside the wider team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead street-style interviews with the public, turning unscripted, on-the-spot conversations into content people want to watch
- Plan, create, and schedule high-quality content aligned with Cullen Jewellery's aesthetic and brand values across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest
- Evaluate content performance analytics to refine strategies and rework existing content for improved results
- Write scripts for social media content, including reworking existing scripts
- Collaborate with the Creative and Marketing team to create strategies and campaigns across all social platforms
- Assist the Social Media Manager in crafting, developing, and implementing a robust organic social media strategy
- Monitor and stay current with social media trends and algorithm changes across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest to keep our content relevant and impactful
What we're seeking
- Proven experience in content creation for social media.
- Comfortable striking up a conversation with someone you've just met, on camera, and thinking on your feet when the interview doesn't go to plan
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Great presentation and communication skills, with experience being in front of the camera
- Ability to work collaboratively with remote teams across different time zones
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in managing multiple content projects
