Position Summary

The ambition for our portfolio strategy growth model 2.0 is to establish itself as the business operating model for portfolio management at Pernod Ricard. It presupposes a new operating model: a genuinely data-driven approach to demand creation and conversion. The new model will:

  • Anchor consumer centricity in all decisions across PR functions, supported by strong GM endorsement​
  • Make portfolio strategy growth model to cornerstone of Market Cos growth thesis
  • Have robust framework trusted by all, relying on more data-driven and frequent inputs, enabling a lighter process
  • Create tight linkage to ensure adequate feeding of other Pernod Ricard Key Digital Projects e.g., Marketing effectiveness, promotional effectiveness and Commercial activation

The Senior Insights Planner – will assist in the rollout of the Insights element of Maestria 2.0 in some gold and silver markets. He/she will work in very close collaboration with the Consumer insights Manager, Maestria 2.0 KDP owner, the local market insights team and regional teams as well as other insights manager and planners in the Consumer and Shopper Understanding COE and agency partners. He/She will support change management and communication throughout the organization and contribute to the development of toolkits.

Specifically you will:

  • Collaborate in the smooth implementation of projects via regular project meetings with market and agency and excellent follow-ups, and timely inputs to agency
  • Assist in the development of questionnaires, sample design, analytical frameworks and other technical features of market research
  • Be the day-to-day contact for strategic agency partners to ensure Pernod Ricard good quality standards regarding data quality and research methodology
  • Assist in the refinement of the Pernod Ricard targeting model and generate multiple use cases to demonstrate implementation of the model
  • Create global learnings and cascade via webinars, workshops, etc
  • Contribute with the thought leadership, storytelling, and visualization of data in the Centre of Excellence. Must have excellent power point skills and good presentation skills in English
  • Be a constructive contributor in the global consumer and shopper insights community especially in the area of demand sensing and targeting.
  • Point of contact for selected group of affiliates regarding implementation of global frameworks and processes and be an active COE voice to help all affiliates adopt & adhere to global frameworks

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Language: English (at least fluent)
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience at either global or local marketing level focus on consumer insights content, methodologies and analytics
  • Good knowledge across traditional and digital research/Insight methodologies & techniques

Skills:

  • Demonstrate the ability to extract value from information and transform it into sharp and actionable insights to deliver Consumer and Shopper centric solutions
  • Ability to understand the complexity of an HQ role and be a positive team player in a complex global network
  • Championing the integration of data sources (Traditional & new digital sources)
  • Tech savvy being able to adopt and apply forward looking techniques in insight-building digital and technology applications
