We are looking to hire a Program Activation Specialist.  The Program Activation Specialist manages campaign design, creation, deployment, and reporting within the Adobe Journey Optimizer and Salesforce Marketing tools. This position plans the strategy for the program with the Program Management leads, develops the timeline with the Project Manager, and develops end-to-end improvements through use of the Customer Journey Analytics tool. This position codes creative, selects audiences, integrates with the Adobe CDP, sets up test and control groups and AJO and CJA reporting. For the trade portion of the business, this position utilizes the Salesforce Marketing tool. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and driving the success of all marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Sr Manager, Program Activation, the Marketing Activation Specialist will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments and develop and execute complex marketing campaigns utilizing new Adobe and Salesforce tools to achieve ambitious growth and customer satisfaction goals. Here’s a summary of what Princess is looking for in a Program Activation Specialist.  Is this you? 

 Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for set up and deployment of all automated and ad hoc direct mail, email and SMS journeys in both Adobe and Salesforces’ suites

  • Create statistically significant tests and control groups within each campaign

  • Code and size all creative formats within the Adobe and Salesforce tools

  • Build reports within AJO and Salesforce and analyze performance

  • Build journey reporting in Customer Journey Analytics tool and make continuous strategic improvements to each campaign based on results

  • Manage audiences for efficiency within AJO and the CDP

  • Utilize moveable ink and new technologies to improve email engagement

  • Monitor guest counts in Snowflake and Adobe CDP for alignment

  • Ensure all email communications are delivered within the new CAN SPAM laws

 

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Scope: This role is central to the execution of marketing campaigns across Adobe and Salesforce platforms. It collaborates cross-functionally and influences customer engagement strategies, with reach across both trade and consumer marketing efforts.

  • Problem Solving: The role requires complex campaign design and execution, including audience segmentation, performance analysis, and strategic enhancements based on data insights. It involves using multiple platforms and tools to optimize marketing effectiveness.

  • Impact: The role directly affects the success of marketing initiatives and customer engagement. It contributes to strategic goals and performance improvements across the marketing discipline.

  • Leadership: While the role does not manage direct reports, it requires strong collaboration across departments and strategic influence over campaign execution and optimization.

 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, marketing technology, or related field or equivalent experience. Adobe suite training, Salesforce suite training, HTML, CSS. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.

  • 2 – 5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on campaign execution and optimization. Strong understanding of email, SMS, and digital marketing systems and strategies. Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for email template customization.

 

Travel:   Less than 25% non-shipboard travel likely

Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

This position is classified as “in-office.”  As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Princess office Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays.  Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the area.
