JOB PURPOSE
Influence the business strategic roadmap and raise consumer centricity throughout the zone organization in accordance with FMCH vision of Opella organisation. Lead all CMI research activities (primary/secondary) for Italy.
KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Influence the business strategic roadmap of the country/zone
Support business to identify the sources of growth and propose directions for new opportunities.
Drive consumer connections for insight generation
Drive the integration of insights into business strategies and tactics
In partnership with Growth Performance Hub, hardwire insights & opportunities based on Opella’s performance vs market, market/segment/channel growth.
Define the country/zone Consumer and Market Insights roadmap
Ensure alignment with the strategic business objectives of Italy Growth Model.
Identify knowledge gaps and propose market research plans to address.
Work closely with Global category CMI Leads to ensure compliance of all CMI activities concerning Global brands.
Inspire and excite the business teams by leveraging new techniques and approaches to develop unique insights that represent the voice of consumer.
Contribute actively to Best in Class CMI
Zone to global: share & reapply of best work, be an ambassador for the local consumers and enable global teams to develop winning brands & innovation for the country/region.
Local to local: within the zone raise the bar of CMI excellence by fostering a share & reapply and continuous learning culture.
Global to zone: influence/lead development & lead roll-out of global capabilities at local level
Drive consumer centricity in the day to day
Build strong partnerships & community with all CMI leads within the region and CMI global leader.
Establish close working relationships with the Global Shopper CMI lead, Global CXI Lead and relevant Global Category CMI team members and the global CMI community in general.
Build strong relationships with key external partners (primary and secondary research agencies) to ensure excellent project delivery (on time and in budget).
Ensure timely and compliant execution of PV requirements in CMI processes (itracker, PO, etc)

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
Experience
8-10 years’ experience working in market research
Proven success in identifying and sharing consumer and shopper insights
Previous experience in FMCG and/or selfcare industries are a plus
Working knowledge of Secondary Data Sources used in CHC i.e. IQVIA, Nicholas Hall, Ipsos
Measurement experience is a plus. Digital campaign measurement or Marketing mix models.
