The Consumer Lending Specialist prepares and processes regulatory disclosures and documentation for consumer real estate loan transactions to ensure they are closed in conformance with all regulatory and bank guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing TRID Loan Estimate and other Early Disclosures for consumer real estate loans
Responsible for ordering all necessary due diligence required for all consumer real estate loan products
Responsible for reviewing and understanding all necessary due diligence required for all consumer real estate loan products.
Responsible for coordinating with lender, underwriter, and for preparing Closing Disclosure and other required loan documents for consumer real estate secured loan closings.
Check appropriate data programs for accuracy and completeness of information
Coordinate with outside vendors, attorneys, title agencies, insurance agents and others to obtain required information and documentation in accordance with loan policy and federal regulations.
Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
Respond to loan originator and underwriter questions, recognizing issues that require escalation to management
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
