Company Description
The Consumer Collecting Specialist (CCS) supports Red Bull Canada’s national Consumer Collecting strategy, specifically around the Student Marketeer program, sampling & collegiate/student marketing. This position is responsible for managing key operations of the Consumer Collecting program and supporting initiatives that drive product trial, grow Red Bull’s user base and strengthen brand love among Red Bull’s target group. The Consumer Collecting Specialist will work directly with the national Consumer Collecting team, cross-functionally across Canadian & Global HQ departments and Field Marketing teams to drive strategy and implement projects, trainings, initiatives, and campaigns across Canada. The CCS is responsible for managing large national projects from start to finish, working cross functionally on new ways to excite consumers, is well connected to changing generational trends, and supports in maintaining & growing Red Bull’s presence on university campuses nationally.
Job Description
National Program and Key Projects
Explore and develop sampling opportunities beyond the Student Marketeer program to drive trial nationally in creative ways through our priority occasions and National campaigns
Work cross-functionally with the national Brand Marketing team on Consumer Collecting’s occasions strategy, development, innovation & delivery of tools, and reporting
Own and lead the Canadian execution of Global Brand Projects including driving strategy nationally, the creation of tools & assets, the implementation and roll-out through regional field teams, budget management, and reporting to HQ counterparts
Assist in the development, integration and implementation of impactful sales support programs
Contribute to the National Consumer Collecting Business Plan delivery on an annual basis
Planning & Reporting
Lead the ongoing management and development of communication with the Student Marketeer team through Red Bull University, inspiring a sense of community and engagement on the platform
Analyze field results, identify best practices and provide reports & recommendations to ensure quality outcomes for future projects and plans
Lead the development and distribution of monthly reports and presentations to the full marketing team and do frequent analysis on program deliverables, offering constructive feedback and guidance to Field Marketing Specialists
Training & Development
Develop and deliver training and onboarding tools, presentations, and materials, supporting training and onboarding for all new Student Marketeers and Field Marketing personnel
Gather insights and best practices from Field Marketing Specialist and Student Marketeer teams and reinforce successful activation and execution
Dedicate time in field with Student Marketeers and Field Marketing Specialists, coaching them on the job to have excellence in program execution that is successfully building brand and can love
Provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure the Field Marketing Specialists achieve their deliverables and targets on all key projects
Act as a role model and leader, displaying the Red Bull values with a consistent tone of voice that is motivating and inspiring
Marketing Innovation
Work closely with the CCM in developing, owning and executing new ideas that are regionally and nationally relevant, complementing the activation of global and national initiatives
Cross-functional collaboration and support across Sales and Marketing depts. (Sport, Culture, Brand and Media Network) (with Sales, Marketing & Red Bull Media Network) to ensure a 360 approach and innovation is included in all key projects & plans
Fulfillment & Forecasting
Manage the receiving, availability, shipping, and inventory of the Student Marketeer textile and ongoing inventory management, including National forecasting during annual Business Planning process
Act as point of contact for all troubleshooting matters regarding Student Marketeer POS, tools, infrastructure and platforms
Qualifications
3-4 years of marketing experience
Strong planning, prioritization, and project management skills including leading projects from ideation through execution
A strong understanding of the local university landscape and student demographic preferred
Exceptional verbal, written and on-line communication skills, including training, presentation delivery, and report writing & development
Demonstrated ability to lead a team, cultivate a strong team environment, and inspire and mobilize others around a common goal
Ability to manage strict timelines with an attention to detail while being able to see the big picture
A strategic thinker who takes initiative and ownership
Experience planning and managing budgets & events is an asset
An understanding of the Red Bull Student Marketeer program operations & strategy is an asset
Fluent in English, bilingual is an asset
University degree
