EquipmentShare is immediately hiring a Consumable Coordinator for our rental facility in Houston, TX to be responsible for providing general maintenance and repair for a variety of customers and company owned tooling and small equipment.

Pay: Hourly (Depends on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. (On call during the weekend only in special circumstances)

Primary Responsibilities

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

  • Review all incoming manifests and shipping documents and check against cargo received.
  • Prepare manifests for departing transfers and/or deliveries.
  • Review and sign off on all outgoing manifests and equipment departing.
  • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
  • Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
  • Receives its within “Company’s” receiving procedures and shipping procedures.
  • Performs 100% material receiving accuracy check.
  • Identifies purchase order issues that include Overages, Shortages and Damages, delivery and assists the buyer for corrective action and resolution.
  • Opens and packs bales, crates, totes and other containers.
  • Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer.
  • May also assist in counting of physical inventory.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, Sweep, dust and mop.
  • Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness.
  • Wear the proper safety equipment.  

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must own tools applicable to position.
  • Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics and diagrams. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized.
  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, and pulling are required frequently. Requires lifting and substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles.
  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations sound.
  • The worker is subject to environmental conditions. The worker is subject to extreme heat which may include temperatures above 100° for periods of more than one hour.
  • Typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
