JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Develop and lead large multifunctional software development activities. Solve complex technical problems, as well as write complex code for computer systems, and serve as a senior source of expertise with respect to software development. Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources. Provide design input across a software product. Work directly with customers and end users to gather requirements. Serve as acknowledged "go to" person on coding and technical issues. Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity. Resolve complex technical issues as necessary and complete complex bug fixes. Design and work with complex data models related to software development. Mentor lead software developers interested in consultancy on development methodologies and optimization techniques. Perform other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- 7 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required.
- Also required is: 7 years of experience: building cloud-native microservices, using AWS, Java, and Spring Boot to process and analyze litigation, transactional documents, and to integrate with machine-learning algorithms that extract structured metadata from documents for law firms; designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems with microservices architecture, robust API design, and system-level optimizations to process and index millions of documents efficiently; utilizing cloud-native technologies, container orchestration platforms Kubernetes and Docker, and designing highly available, fault-tolerant systems; performing end-to-end system design and architecture to build intelligent document-processing solutions that extract entities, index them, and make them available for legal research; performing system design and architecture to make impactful technical decisions shaping product design; working on performance optimization, scalability improvements, and reliability engineering; developing UX/UI experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, and React to create single-page applications that enable users to perform complex Boolean or natural-language searches, filter and view documents, and conduct legal research; working with relational databases including SQL, PL/SQL, and T-SQL, and ORM frameworks like Hibernate and JPA to persist extracted metadata and text content for reliable retrieval and downstream processing; working with search-engine technologies including Apache Solr, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch to index documents and metadata, enabling advanced queries, filtering, and high-performance search capabilities; and working with CI/CD practices and automation, including building and deploying cloud-native microservices using Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform, and Azure DevOps to deliver backend services, frontend applications, and database components efficiently to internal systems and end users.

SALARY RANGE FOR REQ# R118852 :
- $169,736.16 to $177,000.00/year + standard company benefits
