Amex GBT consulting is looking for a consultant to join its Global Team.

As a primary engagement you will act as a PMO for one of our major global clients.

As a PMO, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners around the world to lead projects from start to finish. This includes estimating workloads, planning steps, assigning responsibilities, communicating status reports, and transitioning through a handover.  The PMO will lead and work closely with Client’s management team, focusing on operations and strategies; execution related to global alignment; optimization; and change management to help Client manage their global travel spend.

What You’ll Do 

• Execute multi-workstream engagements, prioritize Client’s requests and work objectives, utilizing appropriate project management methodologies and tools such as project plans, issue logs and presentations. Creates deliverables within established engagement scope, quality standards and time frames.
• Work closely with GBT Account management to facilitate progress of other streams
• Work closely with GBT Consulting teams to ensure consistent deliveries of other Consulting engagements
• Communicate on the progress of the project, identify roadblocks and alert.
• Manage Change to ease the implementation of new tools, standards, policy

• Excellent communication ability (in English, multi-lingual a plus) 
• Strong project management skills
• Consultative and problem-solving approach
• Subject matter expertise
• Communication (exceptional interpersonal skills, listening ability and written presentation skills) 
• Relationship and change management.
• Experience in Business Travel is a strong “plus”
