We are seeking a talented individual to join our Valuation team at Marsh Risk. This role will be based in Delhi. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
In order to support the ongoing growth of Marsh Valuation Services Practice (VSP) both nationally, and throughout Africa and the India Middle East (IMEA), we are seeking a Valuation Consultant to join our team. We are specialists in the valuation of property, plant and equipment (tangible) assets throughout the IMEA region (with a global reach). We have roles in valuation of Plant & Machinery. Though candidates with capability to perform both fields i.e., Plant and Machinery and real estate will be preferred. You will be tasked with undertaking valuations across IMEA for a range of purposes. We have a strong focus on financial reporting and insurance valuations with no reliance on bank panels or mortgage valuations. This role would suit a driven, growth focused individual with formative experience and a strong grasp of valuation theory, who is looking for an opportunity to grow their career with the support of a major global organisation.
We will count on you to:
Undertaking valuations for various purposes, both within a team and individually.
Maintaining valuation data and undertaking research to support development of approaches and valuation outputs.
Developing internal and external stakeholder relationships, expanding renewal client portfolios and developing new business.
Performing ad hoc tasks and initiatives which support the valuations team, and greater Marsh.
The ability to travel locally, nationally & internationally for key client commitments.
Support on complex valuation of Plant & Equipment.
Ability to ensure client deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge and work experience of multiple data bases used for valuation internationally
Willingness to study and qualify with the required professional valuation bodies.
What you need to have:
Experience
5+ years valuation experience
Experience in Plant & Machinery and Real Estate valuation an advantage
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
Valuation for insurance, market value, fair value and other popular requirements.
Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
Comfortable and experienced working with technology (solutions).
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, Word and Excel.
Strong numerical skills
Excellent organization skills – able to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills – able to work within a team.
