Your Impact
As an Associate Consulting Engineer, you will work alongside senior engineers and customers to deliver Cisco SD-Access, SD-WAN, and Routing & Switching solutions. This role is exciting because you'll start owning customer relationships, contribute to advanced solutions, and grow your expertise across Cisco's enterprise portfolio — all while leveraging AI and automation to drive innovation in how we deliver services.
- Participate in customer meetings to understand needs and map customer outcomes to project scope.
- Support deployment, configuration, and migration of Cisco SD-Access, SD-WAN, and Routing & Switching solutions, including active participation in change windows.
- Build and use lab environments to resolve issues, validate solutions, and follow quality standards.
- Co-develop project deliverables, migration plans, and customer-facing documentation — using AI tools for predictive analytics, storytelling, and timeline planning, while validating outputs.
- Contribute to team intellectual capital through reusable templates, lessons learned, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of related networking experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience, up to 4 years).
- Active CCNA certification.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching technologies (Catalyst switches, ISR/ASR routers, IOS-XE).
- Working knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and core LAN/WAN technologies.
- Experience in troubleshooting production network
- Exposure to at least one of the following: Cisco SD-Access or Cisco SD-WAN/Meraki .
Preferred Qualifications
- Progress toward CCNP Enterprise certification.
- Foundational scripting and automation skills (Python, Ansible, REST APIs).
- Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity tools and a mindset of validating AI outputs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Collaborative, customer-first attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to feedback.
