Role overview We’re looking for a Consulting Director – Digital Engagement to grow our CX and digital engagement business in Australia and NZ. Bring a strong background in CX/marketing, senior market relationships, and a track record of delivering MarTech/CDP-enabled transformations. You’ll shape strategy, design architectures and roadmaps, drive new business, and lead delivery with cross-functional teams.

What you’ll do

  • Lead CX and digital engagement strategy; build business cases for digital, MarTech and AI change.
  • Design practical CX/MarTech roadmaps across lifecycle, channels, data, AI and operating model.
  • Architect end-to-end digital engagement using Salesforce, Adobe, Braze, HubSpot, Sitecore; integrate with CRM, contact centers and data platforms.
  • Shape CX AI and agents (chatbots, voicebots, decisioning) with governance for privacy and bias.
  • Drive new business via C-suite networks; collaborate with account teams to build pipeline and close work.
  • Lead or oversee delivery of marketing automation, CDP and AI programs; provide architectural oversight.
  • Support bids with solution options, reference architectures and benefits cases; help meet revenue/margin targets.
  • Build and coach a small CX/digital engagement team; evolve ANZ offers.
  • Build market presence through thought leadership and vendor partnerships.
  • Ensure health, safety and wellbeing in all activities.

What you’ll bring Knowledge

  • Strong CX/marketing background in mid-to-large organisations; experience in ANZ markets.
  • Deep MarTech/CRM/CDP understanding; omnichannel activation across email, mobile, web, social, paid and offline.
  • Hands-on with Salesforce (Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder, Service Cloud, Einstein) and Adobe Experience Cloud (AEP, Target, Analytics, Sensei); Braze, HubSpot or Sitecore a plus.
  • CX AI knowledge (intent, sentiment, propensity, decisioning) and integration with CRM/CDP/marketing platforms.
  • Commercial mindset: impact on revenue, cost to serve, churn and lifetime value; experience building benefits cases and budgets.

Experience

  • 10+ years in consulting or senior CX/digital/marketing roles; strong ANZ senior relationships.
  • Proven MarTech/CDP-enabled transformation delivery; experience with platform-enabled architectures and multi-phase programs.
  • Transformation track record across large CX/digital initiatives.

Skills

  • Business development: open doors, build trust with senior executives, hit pipeline targets.
  • Delivery and governance: manage complex programs, budgets, schedules and performance.
  • Communication: clear, concise briefings to senior business/technical audiences; influence and stakeholder management.
  • Analysis and planning: diagnose issues and turn outcomes into actionable roadmaps.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, IT, science, engineering, economics or related field.
  • Desirable: MBA; certifications in Salesforce, Adobe, Braze, DS/AI, digital marketing or CX.
