Coordinate and manage the data acquisition and data file tracking process for new and established service center customers. Facilitate timely data submissions and follow up on issues that arise during the data acquisition process. Perform administrative duties in the data catalog system.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Coordinate and manage the data acquisition and data file tracking process for new and established service center customers. Facilitate timely data submissions and follow up on issues that arise during the data acquisition process.
· Manage the data acquisition process with suppliers to ensure timely and complete data submissions, including communication of reminders and follow-ups.
· Aggressively follow up on technical or quality issues that stem from the data acquisition process.
· Help to manage the teams customer support queue
· Build good working relationships and work closely with data managers and other account team members.
· Build and maintain good working relationships with data suppliers.
· Become a knowledge repository coordinator and expert for at least one major data supplier and their data feeds. (aka SPP)
· Work closely with Data Acquisition Consultants to identify, track, investigate, resolve and document data quality issues.
· Perform administrative duties in the data catalog system, such as new customer and new data supplier setup.
· Coordinate new customer implementations between Project Management and the Data Coordinator team.
· Become proficient in current tools or technology necessary to perform basic job responsibilities.
· Perform high level troubleshooting on the EDT systemMaintain and build team documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum high school diploma; some college preferred
· Highly organized and able to manage the file acquisition process and issue resolution for multiple clients with different update schedules and varying performance guarantees.
· Customer support or help desk experience preferred.
· High level of initiative; able to foster, and work in, a team environment.
· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
· Aptitude for technical concepts and good problem solving skills.
· Strong desire to learn new computer systems, processes and total quality management.
· Excellent computer skills-Windows, MS Word, Excel, Access, etc.
