What we are looking for:

We currently seek curious, commercially minded Consultants to support our growing Change, Leadership and Learning practice in South Africa. Ideal candidates have:

• A bachelor’s degree or above, demonstrating academic excellence regardless of discipline or field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in consulting, leadership development, learning design, facilitation, organisational change or a corporate environment (preferred)
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects that deliver measurable results, while working with stakeholders and delivering under tight timelines
• Proven facilitation, presentation and communication skills at all levels of an organization with a fluent command of English
• A mature, humble, professional, and hands-on team player who values inclusion
• Interest in strategy, commercial/business acumen, change leadership, leadership development, learning experience design, project management and consultative selling; experience in these areas is a plus
• Alignment with BTS values, including client centricity and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Willingness to travel as needed

What you´ll do at BTS:

• Partner with clients to understand how their business works, what their strategies are, and how leadership, learning and behavior change can help their people execute strategy and do the best work of their lives.
• Develop customized solutions by working in teams or independently. We tailor solutions to each client’s unique context, so we need adept architects of learning experiences.
• Deliver authentic, engaging, interactive and impactful facilitation of programs to local and global audiences, positioning BTS as the best in the market.
• Manage multiple client projects simultaneously, balancing solution design, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, timelines and quality across varying industries
• Collaborate with and lead small internal teams to design and build customized business simulations, leadership journeys, workshops and other discovery-based learning solutions
• Work across several accounts, taking the lead in establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships, identifying growth opportunities and generation of leads
• Collaborate in multiple projects simultaneously while working with clients across varying industries and countries, bringing a strong point of view on people-centred change and capability building
• Take on the responsibility of growing existing accounts and assisting in creating new business opportunities
• Have a fun approach to work while aiming to excel
• Have strong leadership, are team-oriented, always curious, and believe in generating change through people
• Can create great-quality, human-centred solutions in multi-level, interdisciplinary teams
• Are open to give and receive feedback, capable of improving yourself, and committed to helping others grow and shine

You’ll Also Develop Skills In:

• Consultative sales to identify strategic business opportunities and begin to convert these into sales through the assessment of clients’ needs, understanding BTS offerings, developing proposals and the communication of these offerings to clients.
• Leading others within our internal client teams, taking responsibility for the learning, professional growth and delivery excellence of the teams that work with you.

Variety is key in all our roles. You’ll work on multiple projects at one time, across different industries, and with different internal teams. Our workshop deliveries are a combination of virtual and in-person facilitation, and travel will form a regular part of the role. The rest of your time is spent creating the amazing experiences we provide for our clients: interviewing leaders, conducting research and analysis, designing and testing programmes, and helping clients turn learning into leadership action and sustained behaviour change.
