We are looking for a Senior Analyst, who will be responsible for performing the Group's corporate consolidation and financial statements, including the Equity Method (MEP), elimination of sophisticated Intercompany transactions across multiple jurisdictions, and Foreign Currency Translation (CTA). Additionally, this professional will support Brazil operations in issuing financial statements in accordance with CPC and BCB (Central Bank of Brazil) standards, coordinating the audit process, drafting financial statements, and monitoring the status through to final issuance.
Furthermore, the professional will also be an integral part of the ongoing SAP implementation project, ensuring a smooth, standardized, and compliant integration of all entities into the new system.
You will also be responsible for:
- Execute the month-end closing and consolidation of entities, ensuring the accurate application of Equity Method (Equivalência Patrimonial) and investment eliminations.
- Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Explanatory Notes) ensuring strict alignment with IFRS, CPC, and BCB standards. This includes acting as the technical reference for complex treatments (Leases, Impairment, Business Combinations), managing the Currency Translation Adjustment (CTA) process, and overseeing the global Intercompany web to ensure full elimination of balances.
- Manage the audit cycle for Brazil operations, ensuring all regulatory requirements and issuance deadlines are met.
- Support key accounting activities, including: Preparation of financial statements, Audit coordination, Regulatory compliance and deadlines Cash-related projects
- Coordinate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including: Accounting, FP&A Tax, IT teams, External outsourcing partners Leadership
- Monitor project timelines and ensure delivery of key milestones
- Identify and mitigate risks related to accounting processes during implementation
- Drive standardization and governance across decentralized accounting operations
Main requirements for this position:
- Managing a multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional environment
- Aligning decentralized accounting processes into a standardized framework
- Ensuring high-quality data and controls during a complex system implementation
- Reducing risks of inconsistencies, delays, and rework
- Expert-level knowledge of IFRS and CPC. You must be highly proficient in the mechanics of MEP, CTA, and Intercompany eliminations.
- Solid understanding of accounting processes, controls, and financial reporting
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) or large-scale system implementations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Solid experience in Group Consolidation and Financial Reporting, ideally in listed companies or multinational environments.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners
- English as a second language
