Greenvolt is looking for a Consolidation Associate to join the Consolidation team, assisting with the following tasks:
- Supporting the Group’s consolidation process (monthly), including the preparation of the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS;
- Assisting in the identification and monitoring of conversion adjustments between local standards and the Group's reporting standard (IFRS-EU), whenever applicable;
- Helping in the analysis and monitoring of the main consolidation adjustments performed by the Group, such as elimination of intra-group balances, transactions and margins, and determination of Goodwill resulting from transactions carried out by the Group;
- Assisting in communication with the Group’s subsidiaries to ensure the timely closing of individual accounts;
- Contributing to the compliance of the Group’s subsidiaries with the accounting policies adopted by the Group (IFRS-EU), as well as the quality of information/reporting package prepared by each subsidiary of the Group;
- Providing support in the audit process of consolidated accounts / liaising with the auditors.
Requirements
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or related fields;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in areas such as audit, accounting, or consolidation (previous experience in a Big-4 firm is a plus);
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting and financial information;
- Knowledge of consolidation tasks and IFRS-EU (mandatory);
- Knowledge of SAP;
- Knowledge of BPC is a plus;
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (mandatory);
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (mainly Excel);
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
- Motivation to learn and implement procedures, as well as suggest improvements;
- Analytical skills, autonomy, and critical thinking.
