Digital Cloak is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to join our team to help modernize our Government customer's network. The Configuration Manager will work closely with network and systems engineers to plan and evaluate the "to be" enterprise network. Duties will include other CM activities such as documenting the current network configuration and ensuring that all network modification activities comply with the network Configuration Management Plan. Essential Functions
- Advise on and implement enterprise network modernization efforts.
- Work with a team to design state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products.
- Ensure compliance with the customer's Configuration Management Plan.
- Provide review and comment on evolving Configuration Management procedural requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configuration processes and procedures.
- Troubleshoot network configuration issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Review and authorize/approve Configuration Management documentation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Expertise in network configuration management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to develop Configuration Management procedures to fit unusual or emergent situations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 7 years of demonstrated experience with Configuration Management in a relevant environment.
- Experience working on enterprise networks for a Government or Military customer.
- Relevant certifications in Network Configuration Management
Preferred Education, Certifications / Licenses, Related Experience
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience working with and providing advisory services to senior Government personnel.
Physical Job Requirements
- This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time.
- This position requires the ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors.
Clearance Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Current active DoD SECRET clearance is required.
Primary Work Location(s)
- This is a hybrid position. On-site work will be performed at the customer's facility in Stafford, VA. Employee must live within a 45 minute drive of customer's facility.
Travel Requirements
- This position has travel requirements up to 10%.
