Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Manager with a strong focus on DevSecOps and extensive experience with Azure DevOps. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining configuration management processes, ensuring secure and efficient software delivery, and integrating security practices into the DevOps pipeline. This role requires a deep understanding of configuration management, DevSecOps principles, and expertise in Azure DevOps tools and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuration Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management processes and policies.
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and control of software and infrastructure Configurations.
- Manage version control and change management processes.
- DevSecOps Implementation:
- Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring secure software delivery.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement DevSecOps best practices.
- Automate security checks and integrate security tools into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Azure DevOps Expertise:
- Utilize Azure DevOps for managing source code, build automation, release management, and infrastructure as code.
- Configure and manage Azure DevOps pipelines, repositories, and artifacts.
- Monitor and optimize Azure DevOps environments for performance and security.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of configuration management and DevSecOps practices.
- Provide guidance and support to development and operations teams on configuration management and security.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with configuration management and security policies.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of configuration management processes and DevSecOps practices.
- Generate reports on configuration status, security posture, and pipeline performance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates and insights on configuration management and DevSecOps initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Configuration Manager with a focus on DevSecOps.
- Extensive experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines, repositories, and artifacts.
- Strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in integrating security practices into the DevOps pipeline.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in DevSecOps, Azure, or related areas.
- Experience with other DevOps tools and platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
