Configuration Manager

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a experienced Configuration Manager to support a mission-critical program for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In this role, you will identify, organize, and control software and hardware configuration changes across the program's systems. You will identify and coordinate processes for version management, system build, backup and recovery, archiving, and change management, while overseeing baseline configurations for applications, software, and hardware assets. This position offers the opportunity to directly support national security missions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
·       Identify, organize, and control software and hardware configuration changes throughout the system lifecycle

·       Identify and coordinate processes for version management, system build, backup and recovery, and archiving

·       Oversee and maintain baseline configurations for applications, software, and hardware assets

·       Manage the change management process, including review, approval, and documentation of proposed changes

·       Support financial systems audits by ensuring configuration and change records meet audit and compliance requirements

·       Ensure configuration management practices align with FISMA and FISCAM requirements

·       Maintain configuration management plans, libraries, and tools to ensure accuracy and traceability of system assets

·       Coordinate with development, testing, and security teams to assess the impact of configuration changes

·       Prepare and deliver configuration status accounting reports to program leadership and government stakeholders
Qualifications:
Required: 
·       Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain SCI and polygraph

·       Bachelor's degree in any field/major, or 5 additional years of relevant information technology experience in lieu of degree

·       Experience supporting financial systems audits

·       Working knowledge of FISMA and FISCAM requirements and their application to configuration management

·       Demonstrated experience managing configuration and change management processes for software and hardware assets
Desired:
·       SAFe Agile Certification

·       Experience supporting NGA or other NGA/IC customer environments specifically

·       AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher) and experience managing configurations in cloud environments

·       Experience with Momentum Financials (Unison/CGI) systems

·       Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Git, Jira, ServiceNow, IBM Rational tools)
