Northrop Grumman is in need of a Configuration Data Management Controller level 2 to work at its ABL facility in Rocket Center, West Virginia.
This position will be located at on-site at our Rocket Center, WV location. No remote work is available for this position.
Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Reviews engineering documentation, reports, specifications, and drawings to determine documentation and material requirements, ensure compliance with engineering specifications, and to ensure engineering orders reflect latest requirements.
- Analyzes proposed changes in product design to determine effect on documents such as drawings, test specifications, manuals, and ensures all documents have required approvals.
- Compiles release packages ensuring all documentation is present.
- Notifies appropriate departments of any new or updated data.
- Maintains audit trails.
- Researches and resolves inconsistencies with design, production, material, or program office
- Ability to format in MS word and MS excel
- Deliver documents to specific work areas multiple times a week.
- Other Duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience
- Able to work on multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Detail oriented when reading and correcting documents
- Prior data entry experience
- The Controller may support audits of the ERP data and processes
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency is Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Bachelors degree preferred, BS in STEM field highly preferred
