About DriveNets
DriveNets is a leader in high-scale networking software for AI infrastructure and service providers. The company pioneered a disaggregated networking architecture that transforms the economics of large-scale networks while maximizing performance, utilization, and operational efficiency. DriveNets-powered networks are deployed by global leaders, including AT&T and Comcast, supporting more than 30% of total U.S. internet traffic. DriveNets AI Fabric delivers full-stack networking for AI infrastructures, providing the highest-performance, Ethernet-based alternative to InfiniBand. The solution is deployed by hyperscalers, NeoClouds, and enterprises worldwide. With over $1B raised, DriveNets continues to push the boundaries of modern networking infrastructure.
About the Role
We are seeking a high-drive, proactive Configuration Control, PDM Specialist to lead and scale our product data architecture, engineering change processes, and BOM integrity across all lifecycle phases.
In this role, you will take full ownership of multi-level hardware BOMs, Engineering Change Orders (ECO/ECR/MCO/DCO/DEV), and variant configurations from early NPI through mass production. We are looking for an innovative professional who leverages modern AI tools and automation scripting to eliminate manual overhead, build resilient data pipelines, and maintain 100% data integrity. You will operate in a dynamic, high-intensity environment, handling complex configuration scenarios across global Contract Manufacturers (EMS/ODM).
Key Responsibilities
- BOM & Configuration Architecture:
Structure, build, and maintain complex, multi-level product configurations, system assemblies, and hardware/firmware revision matrices across development and production lifecycles.
- Engineering Change Management:
Lead the end-to-end Change Control Board (CCB) process; review, validate, approve, and execute Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Manufacturer Change Orders (MCO), Deviations, and Stop-Ship directives.
- Process Automation & AI Adoption:
Actively identify repetitive CM/PDM bottlenecks and implement intelligent automations (via Generative AI tools) to automate main workflows.
- Cross-Functional Execution:
Collaborate closely with Hardware R&D, Product managers, Quality, Supply chain, and Manufacturing teams to enforce strict part taxonomy, lifecycle states, and smooth execution.
- EMS / CM Data Synchronization:
Ensure flawless transfer and alignment of approved engineering data packages (BOMs, schematics, fabrication drawings, test specifications) to overseas manufacturing partners.
- Data Governance & Continuous Improvement:
Audit and maintain the single-source-of-truth database, resolve configuration discrepancies.
RequirementsQualifications & Requirements
- PDM Mastery (Mandatory): 4+ years of hands-on, expert-level experience administering and operating Tier-1 PLM systems—specifically Arena PLM and Oracle Agile PLM.
- AI & Automation Mindset: Practical experience utilizing modern AI tools (LLM-based productivity agents, automated data-extraction tools) to develop workflow automations and accelerate data turnaround times.
- Complex Change Control Expertise: Deep expertise in product lifecycle states, multi-level BOM structuring, alternate/second-source components, effectivity dating, and disposition strategies (Scrap, Rework, Use-As-Is).
- High-Paced Resilience & Drive: Proven ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced hardware environment, successfully managing tight deadlines, multi-project context switching, and high-complexity challenges with minimal supervision.
- Accuracy & Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with an uncompromising commitment to data accuracy and configuration integrity.
- Communication: Excellent professional communication skills in English (verbal and written) for leading cross-departmental reviews and driving execution with international EMS partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the networking hardware, telecommunications, high-density switching, or complex electronic systems industry.
- Familiarity with ERP systems integration (e.g., NetSuite, Fusion) with PLM platforms.
- Working knowledge of regulatory and environmental compliance attributes (RoHS, REACH, conflict minerals) within PLM environments.

What We Do
DriveNets is a rapidly growing software company that has created a radical new way for service providers and hyperscalers to build their networking infrastructure. DriveNets Network Cloud and DriveNets Network Cloud-AI are new innovative networking solutions that apply the cloud architectural approach to high-scale networking. They bring together the scalability of standard Ethernet Clos architecture with the high performance and reliability of service provider networking, delivering optimal networking performance, scale and cost structure for service providers and hyperscalers. Founded by Ido Susan and Hillel Kobrinsky, two successful telco entrepreneurs, DriveNets Network Cloud is the leading open disaggregated networking solution based on cloud-native software running over standard white boxes. Over three funding rounds, DriveNets raised $587 million. Its solutions are used by tens of service providers globally and are in proof-of-concept and lab trials at dozens of operators and hyperscalers, consistently ranking #1 in trials for breadth of capabilities and solution quality. AT&T, the largest backbone in the US, deployed DriveNets Network Cloud across its core network, and DriveNets is currently transporting more than 52% of AT&T’s core network traffic. DriveNets is engaged with over 100 Tier-1 operators and cloud-providers on large projects in North America, Asia and Europe.
