Job Description
 We are looking for a Configuration Control Engineer with experience in Aerospace Domain. The candidate should have experience in Managing and controlling the configuration of Aircrafts, Aircraft’s components and documentation throughout a product’s lifecycle.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the configuration management process
  • Responsible for managing and controlling the changes to the Aircrafts and components
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and managing the configuration documents
  • Ability to do & implement the traceability process
  • Responsible for ensuring that all the design functional group, project management and quality team are following configuration control process 
  • Ability to perform the configuration control Audit
  • Ability to properly maintain Revision Control & Obsolescence management 
 Skills required and Role & responsibilities
  • Configuration Identification: Identifying and documenting all configuration items using PLM system or in-house system.
  • Knowledge of ARP 4754, Aircraft development lifecycle process.
  • Configuration Change Management: Managing and controlling changes to configuration items, including change request processes, approvals, and implementation.
  • Configuration Status Accounting: Tracking and maintaining records of configuration items, their versions, and their current status.
  • Configuration Verification and Audit: Ensuring that configuration items meet requirements and that changes are implemented correctly through verification and audit processes.
  • CM Planning and Management: Developing and implementing configuration management plans and processes.
  • Collaboration: Working with development, operations, and other teams to ensure effective configuration management practices.
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining configuration documentation, including baselines, change logs, and other relevant information.
  • The candidate shall be capable of working on Individual Assignments as well as on the Lead role as per the organizational requirements.
  • Preferable knowledge/participation in Aircraft certification process   
Tool Knowledge 
  • Catia
  • PLM(Enovia/Teamcenter/Windchill)
  • MS Office
  • SAP/ Any other ERP tool used for maintaining  Configuration management  
Preferred Qualification
  • B.Tech or B.E   M.Tech or M.E 2 to 5 years


Skills Required

  • Experience in the aerospace domain
  • Experience managing and controlling aircraft, aircraft components, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle
  • Knowledge of ARP 4754 and the aircraft development lifecycle process
  • Configuration identification, change management, status accounting, verification, and audit experience
  • Ability to create and maintain configuration management plans, baselines, change logs, and related documentation
  • Ability to perform traceability, revision control, and obsolescence management
  • Ability to work independently and in a lead role
  • B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech, or M.E. degree
  • Two to five years of experience
  • Experience with CATIA
  • Experience with a PLM system such as ENOVIA, Teamcenter, or Windchill
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with SAP or another ERP tool used for configuration management
  • Knowledge of or participation in aircraft certification processes
