As a SCADA Engineer, you will play a key role in the analytics team, working to optimize wind farm performance. You will contribute to the advancement of AI-driven engineering within the asset advisory service line, collaborating across teams to develop and implement a range of technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
This is a hybrid role based in Lyon, France.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct studies on the producibility review of operational wind farms.
- Operational energy yield assessment (OEYA )
- Operational Energy Production Report ( OEPR )
- Performs performance analysis (PA) by investigating all SCADA data and logs (error codes) to identify causes of underperformance
- Code scripts in Python
- Contributes to the continuous improvement of our internal products
QUALIFICATIONS
- Engineering diploma in mechanics, or electromechanics or generalist
- Minimum 3 years experience in onshore wind farm operation and asset management
- Thorough understanding of the typical drivetrain failure modes, root cause failure analysis
- Experience with data analysis tools and scripting (Python)
- Fluent in English
