JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Troubleshoots user's IT issue, determining probable source of malfunctions.
* Accurately enters problem descriptions and user data into online system, resolves problem on the spot, or passes problem to admin/manager level.
* Coordinates problem resolution with users and other support staff as necessary, follows up to ensure that customer is satisfied with resolution.
* May prepare reports on customer support activity as required.
* Provides desk-side support for local users as appropriate.
* Experience in configuring IT hardware
* Communicate effectively with users and update tickets with all relevant
information.
* Will be Assessing IT hardware such as printers Diagnostic checks, repairs, cleaning, packaging and deployment to users.
Qualifications:
• Typically requires an Associates degree or similar technical training, and at least two years of related experience.
• Must possess technical skill and knowledge in computer hardware and soft ware.
• Additional training will be required to support legacy systems
• Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
• A+ Certificate
• Security+ Certificate
• Soft ware knowledge/experience with Active Directory, VPN troubleshooting
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Must have a current favorable determination based on a closed Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
Physical Demands:
Normal demands associated with an office environment. Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face to face. Ability to lift 45 pounds. Some travel may be required.
Ability to pass a mandatory Pre-Employment drug test. Normal demands associated with working in an offi ceenvironment.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$37,600 - $75,100
