An exciting opportunity exists to join our Engineering team as a Composite Design Engineer. You will be a key member of our Composite Design group responsible for the scheme, design, testing and development stages of varied composite components.

Key Responsibilities
As a Composite Design Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of exciting and technically challenging projects. You will:
- Create design schemes from initial concept for components, assemblies, jigs, patterns and tooling.
- Surface components and prepare laminate specification booklets.
- Provide follow‑up support during assembly, testing and development stages.
- Develop practical solutions to issues uncovered during testing and development.
- Contribute proactively to the development and improvement of design concepts.
- Participate in meetings, collaborate across departments and support professional engineering workflows.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of composite design and industry standards.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring components are robust, lightweight, innovative and ready to meet the demands of elite motorsport.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, detail‑focused and ready to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. You should have:
- A degree in a composite engineering or related discipline.
- Experience producing high‑level design schemes and detailed drawings of complex assemblies.
- Strong 3D CAD skills—ideally with Catia V5 surfacing—and good solid modelling knowledge.
- Understanding of composite manufacturing and pre‑preg technologies.
- Relevant experience in an F1 environment (desirable).
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and deliver results to tight deadlines.
- A proactive, reliable and self‑motivated approach, with strong teamwork skills.
